Proper care for your products is essential to extend the longevity and lifespan of your product, as well as ensuring it performs in the way you expect it to. It's exceptionally easy.

KIMONOS

• Air it out if you're not intending to wash it immediately
  It's absolutely essential that your kimono doesn't stay bunched up in a bag before it goes into the wash. Hang it outside, away from direct sunlight to minimise any bacteria growth and to prevent any stench from setting.
  

• Wash cold, ideally under 30°c
  While our kimonos are absolutely fine to endure warmer temperature washes (especially if you're looking to potentially tighten the fit of your jacket or pants), colder washes are less harsh on the fabric, maximising the lifespan of your kimono.

• Hang to dry, away from direct sunlight
  Sustained heat from a dryer may result in unwanted shrinkage, damage to the lapel and a shorter lifespan of your kimono. Instead, opt to hang in the shade, where access to a breeze is still available.

• Use an antibacterial detergent, vinegar but never bleach or softener

RASHGUARDS, SHORTS & APPAREL

• Air it out if you're not intending to wash it immediately
  Same rule applies - hang it up, avoid the rot, cut the stench.
  

• Wash cold, ideally under 30°c
  Heat= bad.

• Hang to dry, away from direct sunlight
  Sustained heat from a dryer may result in damage to the lining in some of our no-gi products - so it's best to avoid it.

• Use an antibacterial detergent, vinegar but never bleach or softener
